Jason Castro is officially relieved from AI.

As much as I wanted to see him every week on T.V., I'm happy that he is finally gone. The man looked like he was agonizing when he was in American Idol. He isn't mainstream and he couldn't find his place in it pretending that he liked what he was doing. He messed up the two songs that he sang yesterday, an indication that he wanted out. Plus, yesterday was the only time that I did not vote for him because I couldn't. Jason, there are a lot of fans for you out there. You can sing the phone book, I'd still buy your CD. Rock on!

An article written about Jason's exit. It's one of the really well written ones I found. Read on:

And so we bid farewell to Jason Castro, "American Idol’s" first hippy finalist. With his piercing eyes, goofy remarks, perpetual smile and unmistakable sweet nature, he was a contestant who was impossible not to like. While his musical background was more limited than many of the others, he nonetheless had some star-making musical moments and was the sort of genuine find for whom this season will be remembered. Judging from the avalanche of e-mail I have received from his Dreadhead fan club in the past few weeks, Castro has the most ardent of fan bases which will without a doubt stay with him as he moves into his post-"Idol" career. Whether through his music or his personality, Castro always brought a bit of fun to the "Idol" stage, was never just filler, and for that we wish him well and treasure the time we’ve shared in the Idoldome.

For those who wish to watch Paolo Nutini talk, here's a video. I, for one, loves to watch his lips move. Let me know if you know what the hell he's saying!

Paolo Nutini, New Shoes and PUMA

Hey gang! Here's a video of Paolo Nutini's PUMA commercial shot earlier this year. We all know that Paolo Nutini(and his song New Shoes) is the new face and sound of PUMA. As I have said before, what a partnership it is! This is going to work. It worked for me. Let's see how many pairs of PUMA sneakers have I bought this past month...one, two three and counting? Not to mention the other PUMA products including a cool orange sports watch. Hell yeah!

Watching this over and over again....(**fans self)

Paolo Nutini in Las Vegas, baby!

You know when Paolo hits Las Vegas, I will be there with my closest friends to witness the grandeur that is, Paolo Nutini. The great thing about it is that Paolo is twenty one years old now and he is legal to drink here in the US and I hope I can buy him a few rounds. Just to tell him hiw much he is loved and appreciated by sticking to music that suits him and that’s true and genuine.

Tell you what though, I am considering to do a research on what is considered stalking in Vegas....hahahah! Just kidding.

I am staying across the street from the Hard Rock Hotel, chances are, I will run into him, right? (crossing fingers!)

For what it’s worth, we the fans, mean no harm but LOVE for these wonderful and talented Scots. We are very excited to see them perform LIVE again. I know that I will have a lot of chances to see them closer to me like in Milwaukeefest, but dude, Vegas is Vegas, there is no comparison.

Besides, I can’t ever say, "what happens in Milwaukee, stays in Milwaukee!"

Cheers, and much LOVE!

Paolo Nutini's Up to Date Tour Schedule

This is one tour that I am very excited about this year. Although Paolo Nutini will do several supporting performances for the Dave Matthews Band, he is slated to peform in Milwaukee, Hollywood and Las Vegas. Hopefully he will add more to the schedule. Not support, but solo. With due respect to the DMB, Paolo is no support. Thank you very much.

Arnel Pineda of Journey featured on Ellen DeGeneres

Ellen was talking about how Arnel was discovered by Neal Schon on Youtube as she was showing one of Arnel's videos while he was still with the cover band The Zoo. She also stated that there are a lot of talented people in the Philippines (how true is that?) She mentioned Charice Pempengco, the 13 year old phenom who was her guest a couple of months back. Now, she is in talks with Arnel to appear in her show along with the whole entire Journey band. Watch this video and believe. I am looking forward to this! Mabuhay si Arnel and Journey!
